Aquamarine translates "water of the sea" due to its transparent color. Most often it comes in pale blue shades, but can also be pale green or bluish green. Aquamarine is a beryl and is closely related to other types of beryl: emerald, yellow- and white beryl and morganite.

Because of its light pastel color aquamarine is associated with Venus but, depending on its shade of color, can have slight Mercurial or Saturnian overtones.

Aquamarine has a subtle and gentle quality. The energy is soothing and relaxing. It improves relationships by increasing our ability to connect with others and can enhance creativity and our appreciation of beauty.
