Aquamarine Jewelry

Aquamarine is Latin and translates as "water of the sea" due to its transparent color. Most often it comes in pale blue or turquose shades, but can also be pale green or bluish green. Aquamarine is a beryl and is closely related to other types of beryl: emerald, yellow- and white beryl and morganite.

Because of its light pastel color aquamarine is associated with Venus but is sometimes considered a substitute for emerald. When the color is blue it has slight Saturnian overtones.

Aquamarine has a subtle and gentle quality. The energy is soothing and relaxing. It improves relationships by encreasing our ability to connect, and to be compassionate and understanding. Aquamarine enhances creativity and our appreciation of beauty.
